Mr. Shahid Mahmood is a calm, patient and compassionate driving instructor. If you have never driven before, don’t worry because he will start you slowly on the neighbourhood streets and work up as you gain confidence and practice more. If you have questions while driving feel free to ask him, and if you are struggling on certain skills he will calmly and clearly review with you. During and after each lesson he will tell you what you need to improve on so you can practice and get better over time. He gives clear instructions on driving rules and how to perform the maneuvers for the road test (emergency stop, uphill/downhill parking, three-point turn, reverse parking, parallel parking). Make sure you pay attention and remember his methods for the test because they are very effective. I always struggled with three point turns and reverse parking before I met Shahid, but when I started using the methods that he taught me now I get a perfect result every time. Very lucky to have had him as an instructor and I highly recommend him for anyone in Mississauga especially if you’re in or around the Heartland area.
